01 / OBJECTIVE
Present the technical concepts and theory necessary for the operation of mixing consoles, as well as the practice in such equipment, through the handling of digital consoles and analog during training.
02 / DURATION
It will be around 09 hours of programming divided
in 3 classes , monday to wednesday at 7pm at 10:00 pm.
03 / INSTRUCTOR
Tairo Arrabal , Phonographic Producer (Estácio, RJ) and Master in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics (La Salle, Barcelona/ESP)
COURSE CONTENT
- FUNDAMENTALS OF SOUND (FREQUENCY, WAVELENGTH, PERIOD, PHASE AND DECIBEL) ;
- ANALOG, DIGITAL and DYNAMIC BAND GAIN STRUCTURE;
- DIGITAL AUDIO (AD/DA CONVERSION, SAMPLE RATE, BIT DEPTH, LATENCE AND CLOCKING);
- PREAMPS, PARAMETRIC EQUALIZERS, AUXILIARY INPUTS and OUTPUTS;
- BUSES (SUBGROUPS, VCA and DCA, MATRIX, MASTER) ;
- ROUTING (PATCH, DIRECT OUTS, INSERTS);
- VIRTUAL SOUND PASSAGE AND MULTITRACK RECORDING ;
- USING VS (BACKING TRACKS) ;
- OPERATION OF MIXING CONSOLES.
